Today’s market is saturated with products and solutions for virtually every type of problem.
When it comes to e-commerce packaging, it is no different. There are many types of products vying for attention and use, all of which have the same role to play – to secure the contents of the shipment on its way to the user. For example, a bottle or flacon filled with oil with a volume of 100ml, placed in a decorative cardboard box, can be placed in several types of packaging:
- cardboard + paper filler,
- foil envelope + bubble wrap,
- cardboard envelope with microwave,
- dedicated packaging, where a specially designed structure of cardboard or technical foam can take micro-impacts during transport and not give this energy to the product.
The latter are products, integrated packaging.
It is a combination of an outer layer and a cushioning layer:
- TAP Comebag® – bubble envelope – a combination of paper and barrier bubble wrap.
- TAP Rockbag – bubble envelope – a combination of outer foil and bubble wrap.
- TAP Foambag – foam envelope – combination of foam and Kraft paper.
- TAP Comebag Paperbubble, 100% made of paper – a combination of paper and paper in the shape of bubbles.
In summary, our sample 100ml container can be shipped in 8 different applications.
Most often lightweight products are shipped in integrated packaging of the TAP Comebag® bubble envelope type. The table below shows the sizes of bubble envelopes with overlaid paper formats such as A5 or A4. This reference will make it easier to match products without the use of measurements.
