How to break out of the white-brown mailer reality?
Most European countries use bubble envelopes in both colors with the same intensity. Sales are split roughly equally between white and brown with the advantage in favor of white.
Interestingly, in Italy “avana” wins everything. Italians love lottery and brown bubble envelopes -Buste Imbottite. White paper in this application is unobtainable – I have not met any distributor willing to offer white protective envelopes to their customers. However, for office envelopes -Buste postali, white is the dominant color.
In Spain, the dominant color in this category is “marrón”, or brown. However, you can easily purchase bubble envelopes (Sobres acolchados) in white – blanco.
Poles most often go for white paper envelopes. The brown color also has its supporters. The motivation for buying it is the belief that it is cheaper and more environmentally friendly. In order to have a broader picture, I will only add that, for example, in the category of expanded envelopes, the brown natron color wins. Office envelopes are mainly sold in white. Maybe this is because none of the manufacturers offer brown envelopes in popular formats like C6 (for 1/4 A4) or DL (for 1/3 A4) in mass sales.
To answer the title question.
There is a beautiful alternative to the title colors. This alternative is called: TAP® Colorbag.
